NICE to update guidelines for long-term sickness absence and incapacity to work

NICE (the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) have announced that they are going to look at the public health guideline on ‘Workplace health: long-term sickness absence and incapacity to work’.

They have identified new evidence which may improve current guidance for workers with a range of long term conditions such as back pain or mental health issues.
